Limited to 300 Copies. A product of the Camden punk scene his parents were native to, Chelou is an unsigned 23 year old songwriter and producer. Emerging last year with a debut EP 'The Quiet', inspired by acts as diverse as PJ Harvey, Bon Iver and Lana Del Rey, Chelou quickly made a name for himself thanks to a host of strong support from the likes of Tom Ravenscroft, Guy Garvey and Lauren Laverne on BBC 6Music and Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1. Having recently collaborated with Maya Jane Coles on the track 'Believe' for her debut Nocturnal Sunshine album along with touring for the much hyped All We Are. This autumn sees the introduction of Chelou's second 'Mothership EP' on 12" vinyl. The lead track 'You're So Good' has been championed by Annie Mac, being included in her 'Music Hot Water Bottle' and 'Sunset Moment' features.

lyrics
I could be the moon / the sun in the sky
I could be rotten / wouldn’t that be nice
I could be a cold / sharp change in the wind
I could be the footsteps / creeping on in
I could be a slave / for you
Do whatever / you wanted to
I could be saved / if I only let it happen
But I’m too stubborn.
You better have something / good for me
I aint a fan of your book / coz I can read
Between the lines / you cant defeat
My mind
I could be the quake / shake in your boots
I could be the screw / that keeps coming loose
I could be the seed / you harvest and sew
Let you die / coz I just wouldn’t grow
Have you seen him / missing in action
He cant find his way to the grow (REPEAT)

Oh how I long for this album in vinyl format! Such smoothness. Such warmth. Such execution. This music begs to be taken along and woven into memories. Everyone I’ve shared this album with has loved it. The music speaks far and wide. Shouting out to a fellow follower, Brian Lehmann, for his excellent taste in music. If not for him, I likely would have never stumbled upon this absolute gem! Plinchmo Larduktin
